NASBP is putting the final touches on the 2026 Fall Meetings, with the NASBP West Meeting to be held at the Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin, TX, September 9-11, and the NASBP East Meeting to be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Philadelphia, PA, September 23-25.

This year’s NASBP Fall Meetings plan to maximize networking opportunities and add industry-focused content. Returning for 2026 due to popular demand are the “Roundtable Discussion Happy Hours-Cocktails and Convos” on Wednesday afternoon prior to each Meeting’s Welcome Reception, giving attendees the opportunity to sit down with surety industry leaders who will guide discussions on surety “hot topics” in a casual, interactive setting. Each Fall Meeting includes an optional networking event co-hosted by Women in Surety (WIS) and a new for 2026 Surety School Alumni Happy Hour!

General Sessions for Both the NASBP West and East Meetings

The Thursday morning General Sessions for both NASBP Fall meetings will kick off with opening remarks from NASBP President Monica Donatelli. Each will offer three presentations on timely topics for surety professionals. Learn about key findings from NASBP and MarshBerry’s 2026 Surety Benchmarking Survey from Brandy Carbone of MarshBerry, and consider reframing and addressing clients’ (and your own) limiting beliefs with Jessica Krause of NASBP Associate New Lyfe Accounting. Attendees will also learn strategies and techniques for using generative AI from Sam Richter of SBR Worldwide LLC.

NASBP West Meeting Keynote

The NASBP West Meeting Keynote sit-down breakfast on Friday morning will look at market volatilities—inflation, geopolitics, tariffs, technology, and more—in “Volatility Anyone? Some Scenarios for 2026 and 2027” with Keynote Speaker Chris Kuehl of Armada Corporate Intelligence.

NASBP East Meeting Keynote

At the NASBP East Meeting, attendees will have a sit-down breakfast with Keynote Speaker Dr. Mary Kelly, retired Navy Commander, best-selling author, and economist. Dr. Kelly will discuss meaningful business strategies in these every-changing times for surety professionals in her keynote “FutureNomics™: The Economic Snapshot Every Surety Professional Needs to Win in an Uncertain Market.”
