NASBP would like to introduce our new Administrative Coordinator, Michele Thomas, who is the first point of contact for calls to the NASBP office. Thomas is filling the position that had been held by Charnita Lee, who has been promoted to Manager of Professional Development.
Thomas comes to NASBP with almost 20 years of experience in administrative roles for various organizations, including National Public Radio and Digestive Disease Week–a week-long annual conference jointly sponsored by several associations and attracting more than 15,000 participants. Most recently, Thomas worked for FederalConference.com, a for-profit company that offers professional conference planning services and delivers turn-key conferences for government and corporate clients.
Thomas will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating continuing education (CE) credits for all NASBP Surety Schools, workshops, and CE sessions held at the NASBP Annual and Regional meetings. She also will assist with all administrative functions of NASBP meetings.
