Look for Surety Section in November Construction Executive Magazine

The Surety Information Office (SIO) annual Surety Section will be published in the November 2013 edition of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) magazine, Construction Executive. The Surety Section contains a 2013 Surety Market Summary and Executive Interviews as well as several articles from industry leaders. In November, the Surety Section will be added to the SIO website from which a pdf of the section can be downloaded.

Thank you to the industry executives for their time and support. Comments and suggestions always are welcome. Please send e-mails to Stephanie Robichaux at the Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA) at srobichaux@surety.org.

Time to Update Your LSA Directory Listings

Please visit the Local Surety Association (LSA) Directory, review the roster of officers for your LSA, and submit the updated contact information to Stephanie Robichaux at srobichaux@surety.org by December 31, 2013. If your LSA holds elections of its officers after this deadline, please let SIO know when to expect to receive your updates.

It is important to maintain up-to-date contact information for your LSA officers, because hundreds of visitors to the SIO website access this directory throughout the year looking for local contacts for their surety questions or concerns.

Change of addresses and/or new officer information can be submitted throughout the year by emailing Stephanie Robichaux at srobichaux@surety.org.

2013 SIO Awards

Thank you to everyone who has been promoting surety throughout the year. Only a few more months remain to complete activities that promote surety by the year’s end. In early 2014, nominations will be open for the 2013 SIO Awards. SIO looks forward to recognizing the outstanding work that promotes the surety product. For entry information and criteria—which recently has been updated—visit the SIO Awards web page by clicking here.
