The Department of the Treasury‘s Listing of Approved Sureties (Department Circular 570) as of July 2, 2012 has been updated to reflect the following:
Universal Insurance Company (NAIC# 31704) under 31 U.S.C. 9305 to qualify as an acceptable surety on Federal bonds has been terminated effective August 16, 2012.
Hudson Insurance Company (NAIC# 25054) has changed its business address to: 100 William Street, 5th Floor, New York, New York, 10038. Federal bond-approving officials should annotate their reference copies of the Treasury Department Circular 570 (“Circular”), 2012 Revision, to reflect this change.
