Be Guaranteed to Succeed Campaign COVERSocial media is an effective way to build awareness of your brand and drive interest in the surety product among owners, lenders, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. The NASBP Producers Communication Toolkit 2.0 offers abundant resources to assist your social media strategy.

Access the Toolkit at the Be Guaranteed To Succeed website: https://www.nasbp.org/guaranteed/home. You will need your NASBP username and password to access materials in the kit specifically for bond producers.

If you’re looking to learn more about a certain social media platform or get better traction on that platform, the “Best Practices” in the Toolkit 2.0 are a great resource. These offer tips on content strategy, paid media, image requirements, and more. Check them out:

Facebook Best Practices

Instagram Best Practices

LinkedIn Best Practices

Twitter Best Practices

Toolkit 2.0 offers social media images organized by stakeholder and optimized for each platform. Once logged in using your nasbp.org username and password, download any or all of the images.

You may want to co-brand the image using your company logo and, perhaps, your NASBP membership logo–NASBP Member, NASBP Affiliate, or NASBP Associate logo. Find and download the NASBP logo of your membership category here: https://www.nasbp.org/connect/logos. (See examples of how NASBP member logos have been placed with the images below.)
INSURICA

Also included in the social media section of the Toolkit 2.0 kit is generic social media post copy. This is suggested text, tailored to each stakeholder and corresponding to each image. The copy is handy if you are pressed for time and need to post something quickly. The copy can also work as a running start to customize and coordinate with your agency’s brand language and mission statement. (See sample figure for INSURICA shown above.)

Another set of Tookit 2.0 resources that are effective in conveying a message on social media are the NASBP Surety Story Videos. Find these in the respective stakeholder (owner, lender, architect, contractor) sections of the Toolkit 2.0. The Toolkit offers a  summary of the topic addressed in each video. You can use the descriptions of these videos in your social media posts with the video.
