Registration is Now Open for the Winter 2013 Surety School

The NASBP William J. Angell Surety School has been the premier educational event for surety professionals for more than 35 years.  The next offering of the school will be held in late January in Houston, Texas. The school’s curriculum is designed and taught by leading industry professionals from both agencies and companies. It provides students with a sound foundation on which to build their surety careers.

The Level I School, to be held January 27 to 30, introduces students to analyzing contractor financial statements, understanding work-in-process schedules, the process of collecting documents and making submissions, the claims process, commercial surety, and ethics.

The Level II School, to be held January 27 to February 1, provides more in-depth examination of profiling and work-in-process, claims, current changes and challenges impacting the surety business, ethics, commercial surety opportunities, and concludes with a case study that presents a real life bonding situation that challenges the students to apply what they’ve learned throughout the week.
