The first conference, on November 12, will address “Practical Tips, Helpful Hints, and Cold Facts: Understanding Today’s Federal Construction Contracting.” This conference on Wednesday will focus on False Claims Act liability, small business issues, mentor-protégée arrangements, and best value contracting and provide attendees with information about recent developments affecting federal construction contracting.
The second conference, November 13, will address “Dissecting Public-Private Partnerships: Roles, Structures, Risks, and Security.” This conference on Thursday will examine the structure of P3s, the roles and responsibilities of P3 players, unique contractual risks for the concessionaire and contractor, and performance security issues. Attendees will be provided P3 case studies.
