SC Insurance Producers Who Are Seeking Only Surety Authority Must Obtain A Limited Lines Insurance Producer License

The South Carolina Department of Insurance announced on April 3 that, effective immediately, insurance producers seeking only surety authority in South Carolina are required to be licensed as a limited lines insurance producer in the state. The bulletin notes that a licensed producer with only surety authority is not required to complete continuing insurance requirements.
